Event Summary: Complete streets are designed to accomodate all users and all ability levels. This free workshop will provide an overview of compelte streets policies and resources available to help municipalities implement them. The workshop is a collaborative effort by the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA), Sustainable Jersey, the Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center at Rutgers University, the New Jersey Department of Transportation and Together North Jersey. The full day training opportunity is structured in four discrete sections, giving the participants the ability to make the most efficient use of their time by choosing the content that best meets their needs.
Event Details: Attending the workshop will assist your municipality in the completion of Sustainable Jersey Land Use & Transportation actions including Adopt a Complete Streets Policy, Institute Complete Streets, Bicycle and/or Pedestrian Audit, and Bicycle and/or Pedestrian Plan.
