In June 2018, the FHWA announced its fifth round of Every Day Counts Innovations ( EDC-5 https://www.njdottechtransfer.net/2018/06/21/fhwa-announces-edc-5-innovation-areas/ ). From September 10-26, webinars about all EDC-5 innovations will take place. Non-DOT personnel are welcome to attend the webinars too. The EDC-5 website will also provide webinar recordings, factsheets, and presentation slides.

Registration is a two-step process for non-DOT personnel (those without a @dot.gov http://twitter.com/dot.gov email address)

Non-DOT users including State DOTs must request access to the FHWA External Portal for webinars

Non-DOT users including State DOTs must login using the email address used to request access to the site and their requested password.

* The account issuance takes approximately one business day. Once they receive their account information, they can access the site by clicking on the registration link and logging in.

Federal DOT staff and DOT-badged contractors do not need to register for an account. You are automatically provided access to the webinars. However, please register for each and every webinar you, and others, anticipate watching. A head count for the number of phone lines is important for us to know. You can register as individuals or as a group, as long as there is one phone line used. Use the link provided that is unique and distinct for each topic and each day of the airings.
