Please join us on October 17, 2018 as we celebrate 20 years of the annual New Jersey Department of Transportation Research Showcase. This event provides an opportunity for NJDOT customers to experience the broad scope of ongoing research initiatives, technology transfer activities, and academic research being conducted by university research partners and their associates. It also serves to shine a light on the benefits of transportation research, including NJDOT’s own program.
Our keynote address will be provided by NJDOT Commissioner Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti, who brings to us 34 years of experience in government service and 28 years in transportation. We are also pleased to have Allie Kelly share the innovations being conducted at The Ray https://theray.org/ , a 16-mile corridor on I-85 in Troup County, Georgia that is a living lab, a model for what’s possible for roadways across the globe.

The agenda includes the presentation of several awards, including the annual NJDOT research project implementation award and recognition of an outstanding university student studying in a transportation-related field. The event is rounded out by a poster session and afternoon topical breakout sessions.
