Looking Forward: Issues and Opportunities that will Shape the Future of the Port Authority Region.

The symposium, titled “Looking Forward: Issues and Opportunities that will Shape the Future of the Port Authority Region. “will be held in person on December 7, 2021, from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy Special Events Forum, located at 33 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. The program will also be live-streamed via webinar to an online audience.
The program will feature a talk by keynote speaker Tom Wright, President, and CEO of Regional Plan Association. The keynote talk will highlight the new challenges and opportunities facing the region in the current century and explore how the agency can position itself to lead the New York/New Jersey region forward in an era of rapid climate change, clean energy, and radically expanded mobility needs.

In addition, the program will include two-panel discussions, one entitled Port Authority as Global Leader in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the second, Emerging Technology and the Changing Mobility Landscape.
