USDOT: Creating a More Equitable Transportation System Through Mobility on Demand (MOD)

The Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office (ITS/JPO) and the University Transportation Centers (UTC) Program of the U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) continue their Guest Speaker Series with a webinar on how to create more equitable transportation systems through Mobility on Demand (MOD).
MOD is a vision of an integrated multimodal network that features safe, carefree, and reliable transportation options for all users, including personal mobility and goods delivery. Combined with transit systems, MOD can support the creation of emerging modes and services that provide a range of mobility benefits for travelers.

This session will feature thought leaders speaking about how new MOD trends are transforming the landscape transportation and generating equitable systems for all users. The session will also include industry professionals sharing their personal experiences of working with cutting-edge technologies that improve the safety and efficiency of transportation systems, highlighting the challenges and successes, and discussing how to prepare for entering the transportation work force.
