This webinar will highlight and demonstrate the new 3D Structures Tool in SMS that can be used to generate 2D bridge and culvert meshes and features for a simulation. Highlights of this new tool in SMS 13.3 include:

* Auto mesh generation for bridges, including wall piers or cylindrical piers, and skewed abutments.
* Auto mesh generation for circular and box culverts
* 3D visualization of bridges and piers or culverts
* Improved pressure flow computations for variable bridge and culvert geometry
* Independent structures added individually to a simulation rather than as a boundary condition

These new features represent a significant advancement in bridge and culvert modeling.

Following the 3D Tools discussion, they will also discuss some best modeling practices as well as tips and tricks. They may also be visited by a surprise guest speaker…stay tuned.
