August 18, 2026
The New Jersey Department of Transportation Bureau of Research, Innovation, and Information Transfer (BRIIT) seeks presentations, posters, and nominations for the 28th Annual NJDOT Research Showcase to be held in-person at The Conference Center at Mercer County Community College.

The theme for this year’s event is: The Road Ahead: AI and the Future of Transportation

Presentations related to transportation research will be considered for in-person presentation during the 28th Annual Research Showcase, to be held October 28, 2026. Posters will be on display throughout the course of the Showcase. Winners of the 2026 Outstanding University in Transportation Research Award and the NJDOT Research Implementation Award will be presented during the event’s award ceremony. Presentations and award announcements will be available to virtual attendees via the event broadcast; posters will be available in person only.

NJDOT welcomes your submission of an abstract on completed or nearly completed transportation-related research studies. While priority may be given to projects that align with the Showcase theme of “AI and the Future of Transportation,” all submissions will be considered.
