This webinar is in conjunction with AASHTO’S Joint Technical Committee on Electronic Engineering Standards (JTCEES), who is committed to identifying the data needs, information requirements, and industry standards to accelerate the U.S. transportation industry’s transition to 3D information models. As demonstrated in the first webinar, the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency (FTIA) is a BIM mature organization. They are continuously applying BIM practices and processes to streamline model-based project delivery and information exchanges across project lifecycles. In this webinar, FTIA will present their information requirements, contract documents as a model, data exchanges between design, construction, and asset management, and lastly their data platform, Velho, in which project information is stored. Furthermore, FTIA will co-present with their contractor to provide more context on the data exchanges and collaboration efforts.
