At zero cost, and practically zero carbon, BTR brings transportation engineers, planners, & policymakers together globally by removing the burden of travel, the cost of registration, & emissions associated with transport & accommodations – EVERY YEAR.
We solicit paper submissions in February/March each year (via the TRB newsletter & past registrants) and welcome transport researchers and practitioners from diverse disciplines, particularly individuals who are unable to obtain a visa or afford traveling to and participating in international conferences.

Since its inception in 2018, BTR is now is in its sixth year, taking place on AUGUST 7 & 8, 2024 – in both hemispheres (so everyone can be wide awake for at least half the events).
